Stay in School Program - Rotary Club of Calgary

The Rotary Club of Calgary began in 1914. The Rotary Club is a place where influential leaders can exchange ideas and take action in important areas such as education, health and humanitarian issues.

The Stay in School Program was created in 1996 and provides one-on-one mentorship to students and funding for post-secondary education to students at risk.

  • Provides 57 mentors.
  • Mentors are paired with students from grade 7 to graduation.
  • The program has raised over $1.4 million.
  • The program aims to raise $125,000 annually.
  • Makes a 6 year mentorship committment to all students.
  • $8,300/student aware given towards post-secondary education.
